The 1998 DeVille is available in three models: Base DeVille, dElegance and Concours. New exterior colors include Baltic Blue, Gold Firemist, Moonstone and Crimson Pearl. In addition there are two new interior colors available: Camel and Pewter. For 1998, Cadillac offers the StabiliTrak system on all DeVille models. Cadillac also offers radio data system (RDS) technology which is available on the optional radio upgrade. RDS allows broadcasters to silently deliver a data stream along with the audio content. DeVille also features Cadillacs unique airbank system which is designed to protect three front seat occupants.
