The 1996 Chevrolet Corvette is available in two models - Coupe and Convertible. For 1996, Corvettes offer the new LT4 330hp 5.7L V-8 engine (available only with 6-speed transmission) and Collectors Edition and Grand Sport Packages. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, heated mirrors, AM/FM cassette stereo and leather bucket seats. Also standard are aluminum wheels, tilt steering, Pass-Key II theft deterrent system, leather steering wheel, power mirrors and door locks. Safety features include dual air bags, four-wheel ABS disc brakes, cornering lamps, fog lamps and traction control. Options include remote keyless entry, Selective Real Time Damping, power seats, stereo upgrades and preferred equipment groups.
